Established in Prilep in 1997, the Center for Civic Initiative is an NGO actively involved in the development of civic society at a national and regional level. The Center carries out concrete projects in order to improve the work of the public administration, in order to foster democratic values while supporting public awareness and local governance.
CCI is one of the leading civic organizations in the region that has developed partnerships with all important stakeholders, works in the interest of citizens, and contributes to a better life in the community. CCI, in cooperation with civil society organizations, government organizations and the business sector, motivates citizens to act on the development of civil society in R. North Macedonia and beyond. The main goal of the CCI is for all citizens to have equal human rights, to be involved in the decision-making process and to have equal access to education.
