Volunteering requires the sacrifice of one’s time, energy and service without expecting anything in return. Our North Macedonian partner Центар за граѓанска иницијатива – ЦГИ Center For Civic Initiative – CCI has shared with us a story of Darko, one of the volunteers from Prilep. Darko believes that the most humane thing in the world is to save a life. It is no surprise that he is a volunteer for Prilep Rescue Service, where he selflessly risks his life every day to save others. This is his story.
