A rescue mission in the area of Rila Monastery-Hizha Рибни езера (Ribni lakes). Foreign tourists who arrived in Mt. Rybni Lakes, were exacerbated by the long hikes in the high mountain sickness symptoms. At 16:00, while descending Long Ridge towards Rila Monastery, a boy slipped and injured his ankle joint after overloading while stepping. Due to severe pain in the joint, they decide that they cannot continue and call for help. 11 mountain rescuers head to the scene. At 19:00 the hiker was examined, the injury treated and the leg immobilized. The mountain rescuers transported the injured man to Rilai Monastery with a mountain cart.
