Usually, members of the first aid teams within the regional Red Cross associations refresh their knowledge in the field of emergency medical aid, compete and raise awareness. In the times of covid, this also turns around a bit, more precisely – supplements. During the Covid-19 period, volunteer paramedics of The Red Cross of Slovenia – Trbovlje regional association helped the medical staff at Trbovlje General Hospital. The tasks of the paramedic volunteers included disinfection, escorting patients, and transporting materials to the laboratory.
