Zavod Odprta dlan offered free psychosocial assistance to the residents of the Zasavska region on the first day of March, after the declared epidemic. In the beginning, they received two to three calls a day, later a little less. The individuals who were called were offered help in the form of a conversation and in some cases also connected with other institutions (Red Cross, Center for Social Work) to provide the additional help that the caller needed at that moment. With their action, they alleviated many personal hardships of people who turned to them and helped them in the most critical moments.
